Salutations! I'm back from my holiday in Bali. Miss me? Haha! I'm sure you guys want to know what's happening there. Well, let me summarise what I did there with my family.
Well, basically Bali is also called an Island of thousand temples. 90% of the locals are Hindu and their belief and practice towards Hinduism is really strong. Almost everywhere you go, you can see offerings made by the streets, their houses, shops and etc. Temples here and there. They also held many praying ceremony almost every month.
Bali, also a place for most shopholic. Crocs, Quiksilver, Roxy, Volcom, Billabong. You name it, they got it. Prices are always on discount there.
Bali is an awesome place for adventurous people. All those water sports activities such as parasailing, jet ski, white water rafting and many more just make you go wohoo! Haha. Nice place to go surfing with those big waves at the beaches.
Also a place for couples retreat. The beautiful sceneric view at the inactive volcanic area just makes you relax and free your mind from everything. Accompanying you with the Sundanese Bali ethnic music, you'll just have a peace of mind there.
Enough of introduction.
Day1.
Reached Singapore International Airport Terminal 1, 2 hours before flight to check in and walk around in airport. Booked AirAsia as our flight transportation. Depart around 4.35pm. Journey took around 2 hrs and 30 mins. Landed at Ngurah Rai Bali Denpasar Airport in the evening. There's no time difference between Singapore and Bali as we are located on the same longtitude. Upon reaching the Airport, had some trouble searching for our tour guide. So we head down to the information counter and call him from there. After the long wait, Pak Patra our tour guide and Pak Sandra found us. He led us to our vehicle and we make way to a local restraunt, Malioboro, for our dinner. After which, we head down to our hotel to check in at Wina Hoilday Villa Hotel. Hotel is located near Kuta Beach. My first impression about Bali. Lepak relaxing place! Haha! It's like kampung type area.
Day2
Woke up early in the morning foor breakfast in hotel. Breakfast food is not that satisfying however I did eat a lot as I was feeling hungry. Luckily the hotel served halal food for us. Thankful for that. So after breakfast, at around 8am. Pak Patra invited us from hotel to start our 1 day tour to Mount Batur, an inactive volcano area surrounded by a beautiful lake. Journey took about 2 hours plus from our hotel loaction to the Mountainic areas. Along the way, the scenery in Bali is just undescridable by words. Padi fields, mountains and terrains. Kampung house and acient temples. It's just too beautiful to be real. We reached Mount Batur at noon and we had our lunch there at Lakeview Hotel, beside the inactive volcano. Nice cool breezy wind blowing against our face. Again, it's just too good to be true. After lunch, we make our way to Batik Making site, Coffee Plantation, Arts Market and lastly to the oldest and ancient Temple or Pura in Bali. We ended our whole tour in the early evening and decided to go for our first shopping. Located at the heart of the capital, Kuta Square offers you a lot of wonderful things to bring home with you. Shop till late evening and we had dinner at Pizza Hut.
Day3
After morning breakfast at hotel. Pak Patra again invited us from hotel for our day tour. This time, water sports activity! Located at Nusa Dua Beach. We went there and did our fun water sports activity. Tried the Jet Ski. Our whole family ride on the banana boat, sis and dad ride on the flying fish. We then ride on a glass bottom boat to view the corals, fish as well as reef in the middle of the sea. The boat then lead us to turtle island and of course there's turtle in that island. After the fun time. We proceed to Tanah Lot. A floating temple in the sea. Again, I tell you, words just can't describe how beautiful the scenery that I see for myself. It's just too good to be real and true. The temple located in the middle of the see. Surrounded by huge beautiful waves crashing down on the rocks around the temple. Creation from God, it's just so amazingly great and beautiful. Explored Tanah Lot and then we head down to Kuta Square again to shop around. Shop till dinner time. Had our dinner at Macdonalds and then rest in the hotel.
Day4
Today, we have our free and easy time. All day shopping. No tour. So we shop like nobody businness. Buy this buy that. Visited the Kuta Beach in the late afternoon. Lepak there with my family then went back hotel. We had a swim at the hotel swimming pool in the early evening. Place is wonderful.
Day 5
Home sweet home.
Depart at 1.35pm from Bali to Singapore.

Ok peeps. Final post before leaving Singapore. I'm actually in Changi International Airport. Just pass through the first check at depature boarder. Using the free computer here and internet at terminal 1, blogging away. Haha. So much changed since I last step into the airport.

Yesterday uncle's wedding solemnisation went smoothly at Registration Of Marriage, ROM. Took 100+ pictures for the newly bride and groom and they like the pictures that were taken. As I captured their historical happy moment, I couldn't care less to think about what is it like when it's my turn. Haha. For your info, the ROM has been shifted to a new temporary place near URA building at Maxwell Road. It's no longer at the old place near Fort Caning Park.
It's Thursday today. Woke up early just to help find my lil bro report book as he need to report to his Secindary school for an orientation. He's posted to my old school, Fajar Sec as his secondary school, that includes my 2 other cousin following him to that school. Yeay to that! :)
I'll be going overseas tomorrow. Gateway to Bali! Shopping, leisure, enetrtainment and delicious mouth watering foods. Ok, maybe I'm exagerating a bit here. Haha! Oh yes, I'm most excited about the bungee jump! Wanna feel how is it like to free fall down a 50+m height tower. Whatever it is, I'm just looking forward to have a quality enjoyable time with my family. Insya'allah, we'll have a smooth and safe hoilday. Miss me alright. Haha!
The thought of someone labbeling me in such a way is killing me. But hey, I'm not mad, cause I know you don't know the picture on the other side of the coin. I understand that. So don't worry. :D

I just came back from ICA, Immigration Checkpoint and Authority Specialist job preview and there's only one word to describe it. Awesome experience! Ok, that's two words.. Haha! Anyway yeah, the whole idea of the job preview is to let us know in depth more about what ICA is all about and how the system works. Don't mistaken them as people who only chop passport as their career but they are the first line of defence on keeping our country safe and secure so that each and everyone of us could sleep peacefully for another quiet night.
Went to ICA building at Lavender. Were briefed by the specialist and then off to ICA Training School at Home Team Academy. Learned some basic Chemical and Radiation detection kit which can detect explosives and radiations. All those cool gadgets especially Sabre 4000, just make me go wow! Haha! For that, I salute Singapore for having such a high tech kit and being up to date in keeping our country safe.
Contraband cigarettes kept in a coffin, in pile of woods and rubbish. Chewing gums, knives and guns replicas. Snake skins, chicks, birds kept in a pillow as well as domestic pets. You name it, they've found it. All these illegal items and animals were found. After a short briefing at the ICA school, time to head down for the real experience at TUAS checkpoint.
Upon reaching TUAS, we were split into 2 groups. We were then taken around the checkpoint. Had our roundings, checking passports, cars, vans and lorries. I feel kinda excited as I'm actually standing at TUAS, in front of the Malaysian border, without a passport, in front hundreds of cars and doing checking which I never think I'm capable of. Haha. But who cares, as long as there are specialist around me, I know I'll be safe. Hehe. Scanning of lorries and cargos carrying goods using Gamma rays. It's an unforgetable experience.
Evening arrives so we had to call it a day. Were sent back to ICA building and The End. Haha! So yeah, ICA specialist? Starting pay is quite high. Full sponsorship to pursue my degree. Maybe yes, Maybe no. See how it goes, let me follow the flow. :)
Plan for tomorrow. Will be going to ROM. My unlce booked me to become a photographer to take wedding pictures of his cousin getting married. Gonna be a long tiring day ahead. Looking forward on my gateway to Bali soon! :D:D

Forgive me for being lazy to update my blog. Were busy with many stuff. Common test over, and now it's time to enjoy the holiday! :) I'll be going overseas for my holiday and also for school community project next year.

Celebrated Mum's and Dad's anniversary last night at CCK garden. We had dinner together with my uncles and aunties. Had an awesome night. A big thank you to my aunt who bought us a cake for their ani.
Oh yes, the above picture, taken druing our holiday at Port Dickson Thistle Hotel last 2 weeks. Place is wonderful. 5 star hotel. Had a great swimming time with my bro and cousins. Got to take care of the little ones in the pool so I decided to join them in the water. Hehe.

I just reached home and here I am blogging away. I don't know what's happening to school now. Stress level up and rising. FYP students going crazy with their problems and projects and as for myself, lecturer called me and talked about my attendance, demoralizing me with her words. Bla bla bla. I just realized one thing. Ngee Ann poly, school of racism as well as discrimination towards the malays and the minorities. Can't do much now, it's almost three years. I just can't wait to get over and done with everything.
Dinamis training schedule is out. I'm not sure if I really can commit to this event. I've got some other event on my hand.
Oh yeah, I went KL last weekend and a series of unfortunate event took place. Mum lost her Samsung Galaxy S phone. Aunt lost her RM1000 cash. Her bag were cut and slit and Masjid India and someone broke into her hotel room. Disastrous holiday. To those of you going KL this coming holiday, PLEASE! Be very precautious of your belongings and surrounding.
I need to buck up now. Pull up my socks and all the best to me. Take care people. Don't sniff glue. :)
